Why not just build a taller bridge to begin with?
I don’t see how that’s any better than the normal type, yeah it looks cooler but it is probably more expensive to manufacture and run, let alone the amount of time and money it would cost to design. Yeah it’s cool but a waste.

Great new concept. Typical for the Dutch landscape. We can’t make those tall American bridges for many reasons (Yes i’m referring to you Jimdogz). Not the right type of soil; the space required for that; the cost of twice, triple the amount of material; your mom; and last but not least, we don’t need to be big, we can make small things and be way more awesome than your American way of thinking by making everything bigger than they should be.
It is a great innovative design. Great for human civilization to keep on with progress. Don’t linger on what you already know and keep trying to do something new.
I was thinking cruise ships. This concept seems a littel much for fishing boats
Personally I think a bit too robot-like, strange and orginal but not my style.
To Jason: in Amsterdam(one city) alone there’s about 1200 bridges, it’s like asking why doesn’t everyone drive the same car..
All those people moaning about the money and stuff. It’s a cool idea, let it be!
