Luzinterruptus seeks to make a statement about replacing traffic with literature through this massive 800-book installation they set up in the streets of NYC.

Team Luzinterruptus wants to urban space, as a traditional place of speed, and noise pollution, has become a place of tranquility, relaxation and coexistence. The soft diffused light in the installation is intended not only to attract the attention of passers-by in the dusk of night, but also provide them with a sense of comfort – in contrast to the prevailing around the chaos.



Luzinterruptus – popular designer team from Spain who became famous for his light installation. The team comprises three people, each of whom specializes in one area: art, lighting, photography.
