On the German artist Alexander Korzer-Robinson can say that he is able to look into the books directly to the soul. For each issue, he turns into a work of art, removing all unnecessary and leaving only the most important thing.

For their creation Alexander takes the old picture books, armed with a sharp blade and starts to work.  Page after page, he cuts out the image, leaving some in place and removing others.  Every element that we see in the final product, is at the same place where he was in his time in the book.  The last stage in the work – this “sealing” books on the perimeter, so it was impossible to open.
