There are quite a few fashion trends that keep you looking hot no matter what the temperature is outside. There are definite trends that will bringing people into Spring 2013 and will likely still be in style in the Fall of 2013 and the Winter of 2014.
The biggest trend is leather. All leather. You can mix shiny leather with stippled leather and raw leather. You can also mix any type of leather colors together. Go ahead and mix that mint green car jacket with black leather pants and wear an orange leather hat. Color combinations in different hues look really good on you.
Fur is also very hot this winter and it will be next winter too. However it is not the black or fake shades in crayon colors that are the most fashionable right now. It is fur that looks like human hair that is the most haute on fashion catwalks. You are the most in style if you are wearing a fur that is of some length and is brunette in tone.
One of the surprising trends that can been worn into Spring is the sleeveless fur. Women in New York are wearing this with a belt buckled up at the level of the “empire waist.” For outdoors these are worn like vests over a big sweater. They can also be worn as a glamorous item that is just with bare arms and bare legs.
To go along with the bulky fur look, medicine bag purses are now back in style. Look for the snapped version with the wide stable bottom and the shorter grip handles.
Even though it is winter people are still wearing sheer clothing. This is sheer clothing to be worn over your heavier winter wear. For instance a sheer overlay of a skirt can be worn over a heavier, tighter skirt.
There is also an overall trend for coats to be worn indoors as fashion items. Due to global warming it seems like coats do not have to be as thick and heavy as they once were. People are now wearing them indoors too. Very popular right now are military styles with double rows of side buttons. There are also quilted styles and military styles. Yet another great style is the cropped jacket that is part military and part biker in look.
The idea is to be creative and use every piece that you wear through the winter in the most creative and attractive ways possible.
